RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND REQUESTING ANOKA COUNTY
TO PROCEED WITH IMPROVEMENTS ON MAIN STREET FROM 44TH
AVENUE TO I -694, STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. ST.
1994 -8
WHEREAS, plans for Street Improvement Project No. ST. 1994 -8 showing proposed
alignment, profiles, grades and cross - sections for the construction,
reconstruction or improvement of Main Street within the limits of the City as
County Project CP 89 -28 -02 have been prepared and presented to the City, and
WHEREAS, the improvement plans have been completed to further enhance the
drainage and storm sewer system in the area including concrete curb and gutter
and re- surfaced street, and
WHEREAS, the improvement plans incorporate a bikeway /walkway system along the
west side of Main Street for which the City is obtaining easements to
facilitate the construction.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the City Council of the City of Fridley,
Anoka County, Minnesota, approve the above mentioned plans and that Anoka
County be requested to proceed with the improvements on Main Street from 44th
Avenue to I -694.
