RESOLUTION NO. 99 - 1994
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SUBMISSION OF THE GRANT
APPLICATION AND EXECUTION OF THE GRANT AGREEMENT -
VIOLENT CRIME CONTROL AND ENFORCEMENT ACT OF 1994
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Fridley City Council authorizes application to the
United States Department of Justice for funds under the Violent Crime Control
and Law Enforcement Act of 1994.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Fridley City Manager and the Fridley Public
Safety Director are authorized to act as the representatives for the City of
Fridley in applying for said funds.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Fridley will provide matching funds
as is required under the grant program.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Fridley will pay the full cost of
salary and benefits for officers hired under the Violent Crime Control and Law
Enforcement Act of 1994 at the end of the three -year grant period.
