RESOLUTION NO. 42 - 1995
RESOLUTION APPROVING AGREEMENT BETWEEN CITY OF FRIDLEY
AND STATE OF MINNESOTA FOR PUBLIC SCHOOLS FIRE
WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota provides fire code training free of charge to
fire department inspectors in exchange for the fire departments agreement to
conduct fire code inspections at public schools within their jurisdiction; and
WHEREAS, the City of Fridley ( "the City ") and the State of Minnesota (the
"State ") had previously entered such an agreement on January 8, 1991, the term
of which has now expired; and
WHEREAS, the State and City desire to continue the arrangement for an
additional term that will expire December 31, 1997;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF FRIDLEY, MINNESOTA ACTING BY AND
THROUGH ITS CITY COUNCIL AS FOLLOWS:
The City Council hereby approves the Public School Inspection Agreement
tendered to the City by the State of Minnesota for public school inspections.
The Mayor and City Manager are authorized to execute the Agreement.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF FRIDLEY THIS 10TH DAY
OF JULY, 1995.
