RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT NO. 8631OR WITH MINNESOTA
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF THE
TRAFFIC CONTROL SYSTEM ON T.H. 47 (UNIVERSITY AVENUE) AND 69TH
AVENUE
BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Fridley enter into an agreement with the State of Minnesota,
Department of Transportation for the following purposes, to wit:
Remove the existing Traffic Control Signal and Install a new Traffic Control Signal
with Street Lights, Emergency Vehicle Pre - emption, Interconnect and Internally Lit
Signs on Trunk Highway No. 47 (University Avenue) at 69th Avenue NE in
accordance with the terms and conditions set forth and contained in Agreement
No. 8631 OR, a copy of which was before the Council.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the proper City officers be and hereby are authorized
to execute such agreement and any amendments, and thereby assume for and on behalf of the City all
of the contractual obligations contained therein.

OF MARCH 2004.
