RES 2005-30 - 00013434RESOLUTION NO. 2005 - 30 RESOLUTION ELIMINATING FOUR SPECIAL USE PERMITS FOR THE PROPERTY AT 7110 — 7190 UNIVERSITY AVENUE, LEGALLY DESCIBED AS, LOTS 4 -6, BLOCK 1, PACO INDUSTRIAL PARK, EXCEPT THE NORTH 35 FEET OF LOT 4, ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on Rezoning Request, ZOA #0 -01, and Comprehensive Plan Amendment CP 405 -01, and recommended approval of both items; and WHEREAS, the City Council also conducted a public review of the Rezoning and Comprehensive Plan Amendment requests, at their May 9, 2005 City Council meeting; and WHEREAS, the City has determined this Rezoning and Comprehensive Plan Amendment is consistent with the direction that the City desires for this site, and WHEREAS, the rezoning to C -2, General Business, from M -1, Light Industrial eliminates the need for past special use permits in the M -1 district, permits that would not be required in the C -2 District, and WHEREAS, elimination of special use permits: SP 486 -06, SP 4 88 -02, SP 497 -09, and SP 4 01 -03, would create a clean file for purposes of property records, and WHEREAS, It is the City's desire to eliminate the four past Special Use Permits and thereby to make a clean record at the Anoka County Recorder's Office, and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Fridley hereby approves the elimination of SP 486 -06, SP 4 88 -02, SP 497 -09, and SP 4 01 -03.
