A RESOLUTION ORDERING FINAL PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ESTIMATES
OF COSTS THEREOF: MILL AND OVERLAY PROJECT NO. ST. 2006 — 2
WHEREAS, Resolution No.2006 -27 ordered the preliminary plans, specifications and estimates
of the costs thereof for the improvements in this project, and
WHEREAS, Resolution No.2006 -28 received the preliminary report and called for a public
hearing on the matter of the construction of certain improvements for this project, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on June 12, 2006 regarding this project, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined a need to resurface the streets to maintain them in a
safe condition and at a reasonable cost.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka
County, Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the following improvements proposed by Council Resolution No.2006 -28 are hereby
ordered to be effected and completed as soon as reasonably possible, to -wit:
Street improvements including milling and bituminous paving located as follows:
Matterhorn Drive — Gardena Avenue to 1200 Feet South
73rd Avenue — University Avenue to Able Street
2. That the following work be incorporated in the 2006 street improvement project as ST. 2006
-2.
3. That the work to be performed under this project may be performed under one or more
contracts as may be deemed advisable upon receipt of bids.
4. That the Director of Public Works, Jon H. Haukaas, is hereby designated as the engineer for
this improvement. He shall prepare plans and specifications and estimates of costs thereof for
the making of such improvements.
