RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT
AND PARTICIPATION IN MINNESOTA STATE PATROL FEDERAL
PROJECT PROGRAMS
WHEREAS, the City of Fridley Police Department shall enter into a grant agreement with the
Minnesota Department of Public Safety, Office of Traffic Safety for Minnesota State Patrol
Federal project programs during the period of October 1, 2009, through September 30, 2012;
WHEREAS, Director of Public Safety, Donovan Abbott, of the City of Fridley and the Fridley
Police Department, or his designee, is hereby authorized to execute such agreements and
amendments as are necessary to implement the project on behalf of the City of Fridley Police
Department;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Fridley that
Director of Public Safety, Donovan Abbott, of the City of Fridley and the Fridley Police
Department, or his designee, is hereby authorized to be the fiscal agent and administer this grant
on behalf of the Fridley Police Department.
