A RESOLUTION APPROVING A ONE YEAR EXTENSION ON SPECIAL USE PERMIT
SP# 09 -05 FOR LAI MIDWEST INC., 7645 BAKER ST
WHEREAS, on September 28, 2009, the Fridley City Council approved Special Use Permit, SP
#09 -05 to LAI Midwest Inc., to allow limited outdoor storage; and
WHEREAS, Section 205.05.5.G of the Fridley City Code requires that within one year after
granting a Special Use Permit, if the petitioner of the Special Use Permit have not commenced the
work required by the permit, the permit shall become null and void unless a petition for an
extension of time to complete the work is granted; and
WHEREAS, on August 23, 2010, the City Council received a one -year extension request from the
petitioner to allow them additional time to comply with one of the stipulations on their Special Use
Permit;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fridley that a one-
year extension for Special Use Permit SP #09 -05 has been granted to September 28, 2011.
