A RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT
FOR OAK GLEN CREEK IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 380
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 2012 -14 of the City Council of the City of Fridley adapted
February 13, 2012, a report has been prepared by the City of Fridley Public Works Department with
reference to the improvements listed in `Exhibit A', attached, and this report was officially received
by the City Council on June 11, 2012, and
WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is necessary,
cast - effective, and feasible, and
WHEREAS, the report concludes that Oak Glen Creek Improvements are necessary, cast - effective,
and feasible to construct beginning in 2012 assuming that the necessary permanent easements are
acquired, and
WHEREAS, State funding is designated and available to fund a large proportion of the project
casts,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FRIDLEY, MINNESOTA:
1. The council will consider the improvements in accordance with the report and the
assessment of benefiting property for all or a portion of the cast of the
improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429 at an estimated total
cast of the improvement of $424,700.00.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 9th day of
July 2012, in the Council Chambers of the Fridley City Hall at 7:30 p.m. and the
clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as
required by law.
