CITY MANAGER - Earl P Wagner RESOLUTION NO. 106 - 1960 A RESOLUTION ?.E'CEIVING THE PRELIMINARY REPORT AND CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE MATTER OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN IMPRV EPvTENTS: (HACICAANN CIRCLE STORM SE)ER) WHMEAS, the construction of certain improvements is deemed to be in the interest of the City of Fridley and the property owners affected thereby. BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fridley, as follows: 1. That the preliminary report submitted by Comstock & Davis, Inc., Consulting Engineers, is hereby re- ceived and accepted. 2. That this Council will meet on the 14th day of Sep- tember, 1960, at 7:30 o'clock P.M. at the City Hall in the City of Fridley for the purpose of holding a Public Hearing on the improvements noted in the No- tice of Bearing attached hereto and made a part there- of by reference, Exhibit "A ". (Exhibit "A" - See Publication Notices under dates of September 1st and September 8th, 1960). 3. That the area proposed to be assessed for said im- provements and each of them as noted in said notice are all the lands and areas as noted in said notice: all of the same tn be assessed proportionately according to the benefits received. b. That the City Manager is authorized and directed to give notice of such public hearing by publishing a notice thereof in the official newspaper of the City of Fridley according to law, such notice to be substantially in the form and substance of the notice attached hereto as Ex- hibit "A ". NOW, TTTICRFFORE, NOTICE IS T?EFY?Y GIVEN THAT on the 14th day of September, 1960, at 7:00 o'clock P.P ^., the City Council will meet at the City Hall in said City and will at said time, and place hear all parties interested in said improvements in whole or in ' Part. The general nature of the improvements is the construction (in the lands and streets noted below) of the following improvements, to -wit: CNSTRTICT ION ITEM A Storm Sewer and Appurtenances for Heckmann Circle. ESTIMATED COST ........ ..............................t 2,700.00 THAT THE AREA TO BE ASSESSED FOR SAID IMPROVEMENTS ( AND EACH OF THEM) IS AS FOLLOWS: A. ABOVE: All of the lands abutting upon said streets named above and all of the lands located in Heckmann Circle, Hackmann Avenue, North of intersection of Hackmann Circle and Heckmann Avenue and Tennison Drive and all lands adjacent and abutting thereto. All of said lands to he assessed proportionately according to the benefits received by such improvements. That the Council proposes to proceed with each of said improve- ments as separate improvements, except as hereafter otherwise pro- vided by the Council all under the following authority, to -wit: Minnesota Laws 1953, Chapter 398 and laws amendatory thereof and in conformity with the City Charter.
