1st day of November, 1960, set the date for he =ring on the proposed
improvementsc as specifically noted in the Notice of Hearing attached
hereto for reference as Exhibit "A ", and
WHEREAS, all of the property owners whose property is liable to
be assessed with the making of these improvements (as noted in said
notice) were given ten (10) days published notice of the Council
Hearing through two (2) weekly publications of the required notice,
and the hearing was held and the property owners heard thereon at
the hearing, as noted in said notice.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of
Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the following improvements proposed by Council
Resolution #149 - 1960 are hereby ordered to be effected
and completed as soon as reasonably possible to -wit:
a. All of the improvements as noted in the notice of
hearing on the same as are noted (in Exhibit "A")
in said notice.
That the work above may be consolidated with other areas
as one improvement.
2. The work to be performed under this project may be performed
under one or more contracts as may be deemed advisable upon
receipt of bids.
3. Comstock and Davis, Consulting Engineers, are hereby desig-
nated as the Engineer for this improvement. . They shall
prepare final plans and specifications for the making of
such improvements.

4th day of October, 1960, set the date for hearing on the proposed
improvements, as specifically noted in the Notice of Hearing attached

NOTICE OF HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota
has deemed it necessary and expedient that the improvements hereinafter descri-
bed be made.
NOW, THEREFORE, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT on the 1st day of
November, 1960, at 7:30 o'clock P.M., t.e City Council will meet
at the City Hall in said City, and will at said time, and place hear '
all parties interested in whole or in part.
The general nature of the improvements is the construction ( in
the lands and streets noted below) of the following improvements, to -wit:
CONSTRUCTION ITEM: -
A. Storm Sewer System for the Jackson Street and 66th Avenue Area
located in and serving all of the area described as follows:
1.- 64th Avenue N.E. from Jackson to Able, Jackson Street from
Bennett Drive to Clover Place, 66th Avenue N.E. from Jackson
to Able. The property abutting the west side of Able Street
from 64th Avenue N.E. to approximately 200 feet north of
Mississippi St. The approximate acreage served is 21.2 .

THAT THE AREA TO BE ASSESSED FOR SAID IMPROVEMENTS ( AM EACH OF THEM )
IS AS FOLLOWS:
FOR CONSTRUCTION ITEM A, ABOVE:
All of the lands abutting upon said streets named above -and all '
of the lands located in the following areas: -.64th Avenue N.E.
from Jackson to Able, Jackson St, from �ennett Drive to Clover
Place, 66th Avenue N.E. from Jackson St, To Able St. The property
abutting the west side of Able Street from 64th Avenue N.E. to
approximately 200 feet north of Mississippi Street. The approximate
acreage served is 21,2.
All of said lands to be assessed proportionately according to the
benefits received by such improvements.
That the Council proposes to proceed with each of said improve-
ments as separate improvements, except as hereafter otherwise provided
by the Council all under the following authority, to -wit: Minnesota
Laws 1953, Chapter 398 and law amendatory thereof, and in conformity
with the City Charter.
