RES 1960-63 - 00012742 (2)RESOLUTION NO. 62 - 1960 A RESOLUTION FOR PRELIMINARY PLANS FOR S.P. 0285 WHEREAS, The Commissioner of Highways has prepared prelimi- nary plans for the improvement of a part of Trunk Highway Num- ber 393 renumbered as Trunk Highway Number 694 within the cor- porate limits of the City of Fridley from the West Corporate Limits to G.N. & N.P.R.R.; and WHEREAS, said preliminary plans are on file in the office of the Department of Highways, Saint Paul, Minnesota, being marked, labeled and identified as Layout No. 7B, Vicinity of Brooklyn Center and Fridley, S.P. 028; (694 -393); and WHEREAS, copies of said preliminary plans as so marked, labeled and identified are also on file in the office of the City Clerk; and WHEREAS, the term "said preliminary plans" as hereinafter used in the body of this resolution shall be deemed and intend- ed to mean, refer to, and incorporate the preliminary plans as in the foregoing recitals particularly identified and described; NOW, THEN, BE IT RESOLVED that said preliminary plans for the improvement of Trunk Highway Number 393 renumbered Trunk Highway Number 694 within the limits of the City of Fridley be and hereby are approved. Brunsell RESOLUTION NO. 63 - 1960 A RESOLUTION ORDERING PRELIMINARY PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, AND ESTIZATES OF THE COSTS THEREOF: (MUNICIPAL WATER SYSTEM) BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY, as follows: 1. That it appears in the interest of the City of Fridley and of the property owners affected that there be con- structed certain improvements, to -wit: a. A complete municipal water system throughout the City of Fridley supplementing and integrating therein the municipal system now in existence in part of the City of Fridley, and including, but not limited to the following: 1. Additional wells pumps, pump houses, storage tanks, water treatment facilities, intercon- necting supply mains, major distribution feed - er mains, and all appurtenances incidental thereto, necessary or desirable to provide to the entire City of Fridley an overall system of municipal water. 2. Additional watermains, laterals and service connections to provide a full and complete municipal water service to areas of land and properties not so serviced presently, and also as may improve and provide a better service to lands and areas already receiving some water service. 2. That the firm of Comstock and Davis, Inc., is hereby authorized and directed to draw preliminary plans and specifications and to tabulate the results of his or their estimates of the costs of said improvements, and to make a preliminary report of his or their findings to the Council not later than at their earliest conven- ience. Greig MANAGER - Earl P. agner _ RESOLUTION No. 64 - 1960 A RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENTS, APPROVAL OF PLANS, AND ORDERING ADVERTISING FOR BIDS: INTERCEPTOR SYSTEM ' WHEREAS, the resolution of the City Council adopted the 19th day of Anril, 1960, set the date for hearing on the proposed im- provements, as specifically noted in the notice of hearing attached hereto for reference as E]HIBIT "A ", and, WHEREAS, all the property owners whose property is liable to be assessed with the making of these improvements (as noted in said notice) were given ten (10) days published notice of the Council hearing through two (2) weekly publications of the required notice, and the hearing was held and the property owners heard thereon at the hearing, as noted in said notice. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of Fridley, Minnesota, as follows: 1. That the following improvements heretofore proposed by Council resolution are hereby ordered to be effected and completed as soon as reasonably possible, to -wit: a. All of the improvements as noted in the notice of hearing on the same as are noted (in Exhibit "A ") in said notice, except (none); that the work in- ' volved in said improvements as listed above shall hereafter be designated as: SANITARY SEWER INTERCEPTOR SYSTEM IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 24 -1960. 2. The Plans and Specifications prepared by Comstock and Davis, Inc., Consulting Engineers, for such improvements and each of them, pursuant to the Council resolutions heretofore adopted, a copy of which plans and specifica- tions are hereto attached and made a part hereof, are hereby approved and shall be filed with the City Clerk.
