RESOLUTION NO. 7 -1962
A RESOLUTION COMMENDING PAUL SEGNER.
WHEREAS, Paul Segner served as Chairman of the City of Fridley
Planning Commission from January, 1959 through January, 1962, and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Fridley
as follows:
1. That the Council, for itself, and on behalf of the residents
of the City of Fridley, commends Paul Segner for the work
he has performed as Chairman of the Planning Commission.
2. That the Council hereby expresses its appreciation and
gratitude to Mr. Segner for his untiring efforts in
behalf of the planned growth, and progress of the City
of Fridley.

RESOLUTION NO. 8 -1962
At a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Fridley
duly held on the 5th day February, 1962, the following reso-
lution was offered by Councilman Sheridan, seconded by Council-
man Johanson, to -wit:
WHEREAS, THE Commissioner of Highways has prepared pre-
' liminary Plans for the improvement of a part of Trunk Highway
Number 212 renumbered as Trunk Highway Number 69li within the
corrorate lirits of the City of 1ridley from the G.N. & d.P.R.R.
crossing to the Vest Corrorete Limits; and
' HEREAS, said preliminary plans are on file in the office
of the Department of Highways, Saint Paul, Minnesota, being marked,
labeled, and identified as Portion Layout No. 12, S.P. 0285 -01
(T.J. 694 -212), and
'WHEREAS, copies of said preliminary plans as so marked,
labeled, and identified are also on file in the office of the City
Clerk; and
3. That the City Clerk is
hereby directed to prepare
a
suitable copy of this
resolution for presentation
to
Paul Segner.

RESOLUTION NO. 8 -1962
At a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Fridley
duly held on the 5th day February, 1962, the following reso-
lution was offered by Councilman Sheridan, seconded by Council-
man Johanson, to -wit:

used in the body of this resolution shall be deemed and intended
to mean, refer to, and incorporate the preliminary plans as in the
foregoing recitals particularly identified and described;
NOW, THEN, BE IT RESOLVED, that said preliminary plans
for the improvement of Trunk Highway Number 212 renumbered Trunk
Highway Number 694 within the limits of the City of Fridley be and
hereby are approved.
Upon the call of the'roll the following members voted in
favor of the Resolution: Johanson, Yee, Wolke, Sheridan.
The following member voted against its adoption: None.

whereupon the Mayor and presiding officer declaired the Resolution
adopted.

due and legal notice was given of the,City Council of Fridley,
Minnesota, on the 5th day of February, 1962, at which a majority
of the members of said Council were rresent, the foregoing
resolution was adopted. Given under my hand and seal this 5th '

RESOLUTION TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS
FOR ONE CARRY -ALL TYPE TRUCK
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Fridley, as follows:
1. That it is in the interest of the City to purchase the
following items or materials for the Engineering Department:
ONE CARRY -ALL TYPE TRUCK
2. A copy of the plans and specifications for the above described
items and materials, together with a proposal for the method
of purchase and the payment thereof have been rresented to the
Coui'.cil by the City Manager and the sane are hereby arprcved ,
and adopted as the plans and specifications, and t'.e met`cd
of acquisition and rayrert to t:e recuired by the City with
respect to the acquisition of said items and materials.
3. The purchase of said items and materials as described above
shall be effected by sealed bids to be received and opened
by the City Ccunci_1 on the 5th day of March, 1962. The City
Manager is directed and authorized to advertise for the
purchase of said items and materials by sealed bid proposals
