RES 1962-123 - 00012492 (2)12j The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Nee, and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: Councilmen Johanson, Nee, Wolke, Sheridan, and Mayor Greig. and the following members voted against the same: None WHEREUPON SAID RESOLUTION WAS DECLARED DULY PASSED AND ADOPTED. 1 RESOLUTION NO. 123 -1962 A RESOLUTION ORDERING PRELIMINARY PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS AND ESTIMATES OF COSTS TAEREOF: (STREETS - PROJECT ST. 1962 -2B). RIVER EDGE WAY BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley as follows: t = -j t -: 1. That it appears in the interest of the City and of the property owners affected that there be constructed cer- tain improvements, to -wit: a. Street improvements, including grading, stabilized base, bituminous surfacing, concrete curb and gutter and appurtenant facilities, located as follows: (1) River Edge Way - West and So-nth leg.: b. That petitions relative to said improvements have been received and filed with the City as follows:` (1) Petition No. 12 -1962 and Petition No. 37 -1962 ' relating to Item a (1) above. 2. That the City Engineer, Calvin G. Brown, P.E., is hereby authorized and directed to draw preliminary plans and speci- fications and to tabulate the results of his estimates of the costs of said improvements, including every item of cost from inception to completion and all fees and expenses incurred (or to be incurred) in connection therewith, or the financing thereof, and to make a preliminary report of his findings, stating therein whether said improvements are feasible and whether they can best be made as proposed, or in connection with some other improvements (and the estimated cost as recommended), including also a description of the lands or area as may receive benefits therefrom and as may be proposed to be assessed. 3. That the City Clerk shall act to ascertain the name and address of the owner of each parcel of land directly affected on within the area of lands as may be proposed to be assessed for said improvements (and each of them); and, upon receipt from said Engineer of the said preliminary report, calculate the estimates of assessments as may be proposed relative thereto against each of said lands. ' 4. That said preliminary report of the Engineer and estimates of assessments of the Clerk, shall be furnished to the Council, and made available for inspection to the owner of any parcel of land as may be affected thereby at any public hearing held relative thereto, as well as at any prior time reasonable and convenient.< ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY THIS 4TH DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 1962. �.E MAY .R - T.
