A RESOLUTION RECEIVING THE PRELIMINARY REPORT AND CALLING A
PUBLIC HEARING ON THE MATTER OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN
IMPROVEMENTS: (STREET PROJECT NO. ST. 1962 -2B) RIVER EDGE WAY
WHEREAS, the construction of certain improvements is deemed to
be in the interest of the City of Fridley and the property owners af-
fected thereby.
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fridley as fol-
lows:
1. That the preliminary report submitted by the City Engineer,
Calvin G. Brown, P.E., is hereby received and accepted.
2. That this Council will meet on the 17th day of September, 1962,
at 8:nO o'clock P.M. at the City Hall in the City of Fridley for
the purpose of holding a Public Hearing on the improvement noted
In the Notice attached hereto and made a part thereof by reference,
Exhibit "A ".
3. That the area proposed to be assessed for said improvements
and each of them as noted in said notice are all the lands and
areas as noted in said notice; all of the +same `to be assessed pro-
portionately according to the benefits received.
4. That the City Manager is authorized and directed to give notice
of such Public Hearing by publishing a notice thereof in the offi-
cial newspaper of the City of Fridley according to law, such notice
to be substantially in the form and substance of the notice attached
hereto as Exhibit "A."

RESOLUTION DIRECTING PREPARATION OF ASSESSMENT ROLL
FOR STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 52
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY, ANOKA COUNTY,
MINNESOTA AS FOLLOWS:
1. It is hereby determined that the assessible cost of construction
with respect to the following named improvement to —wit:
STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 52
including all indidental expenses thereto is estimated at
$18,230.30.
2. The City Manager with the assistance of the Clerk shall forthwith
calculate the proper amounts to be specially assessed for said

NOTICE OF HEARING ON IMPROVEMTS
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka County,
Minnesota, has deemed it necessary and expedient that the improvements,
hereinafter described be made.
NOW, THEREFORE, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT on the 17th day of
September, 1962, at 5:00 P.M., the City Council will meet at the
' City Hall in said City, and will at said time, and place hear all
parties interested in said improvements in whole or in part.
The general nature of the improvements in the construction
(in the lands and streets noted below) of the following improve -
ments, to -wit:
CONSTRUCTION ITEM (ST 1962 -2B)
A. Street base and surfacing (bituminous) and concrete curb and
gutter and appurtenant work located in all the streets and
serving all the area described as follows:
(1) River Edge Way - West leg and South leg.
ESTIMATEDCOST ........... ..............................$ 23,060.00
THAT THE AREA PROPOSED TO BE ASSESSED FOR SAID IMPROVEMENT IS AS
FOLLOWS:
For Construction Item A, Above.....
All of the land abutting upon said street named above and all
lands within, adjacent and abutting thereto.
' A11 of said land to be assessed proportionately according to the
benefits received by such improvements.
That the `'ouncil proposes to proceed with each of said 4mprove-
ments as separate improvements, except as hereafter otherwise pro -
vided by the Council all under the following authority, to -wit:
Minnesota Laws 1453, Chapter 395 and laws amendatory thereof, and
in conformity with the City Charter.
