RES 1962-1541 -54 RESOLUTION NO. 154 -1962 RESOLUTION CONFIRMING ASSESSMENT FOR WATER AND SEWER IMPROVE- MENT PROJECT NO. 50 BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Fridley, Minnesota, as follows: 1. The City Clerk has with the assistance of the engineers heretofore selected by this Council for such purpose, calculated the proper amounts to be specially assessed for the WATER AND SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 50 in said City against every assessible lot, piece or parcel of land in accordance with the provisions of law, and has prepared and filed with the City Clerk tabulated statements in duplicate showing the proper description of each and every lot, piece or parcel of land to be specially assessed and the amount calculated against the same. 2. Notice has been duly published as required by law that this Council would meet in regular session at this time and place to pass on the proposed assessment. 3. Said proposed assessment has at all times since its filing been open to inspection and copying by all per- sons interested, and an opportunity has been given to all interested persons to present their objections, if any, to such proposed assessment, or to any item, thereof, and no objections have been filed; except 4. The amounts specified in the proposed assessment are changed and altered, as follows: S. This Council finds that each of the lots, pieces or parcels of land ennumerated in said proposed assessment as altered and modified was and is specially benefited by the WATER AND SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 50 in the amount in said proposed assessment as altered and modified by the corrective roll in the amount set opposite the description of each such lot, piece or parcel of land, and that said amount so set out is hereby levied against each of the receptive lots, pieces or parcels of land there- in described. 6. Such proposed assessment as altered, modified and correc- ted is affirmed, adopted and confirmed, and the sums fixed and named in said proposed assessment as altered, modi- fied and corrected, with the changes and alterations herein above made, are affirmed, adopted and confirmed as the proper special assessment for each of said lots, pieces or parcels of land respectively. 7. Said assessment so affirmed, adopted and confirmed shall be certified to by the City Clerk and filed in his office and shall thereupon be and constitute the special assessment for WATER AND SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 50 1 155 8. The amounts assessed against each lot, piece or parcel of land shall bear interest from the date hereof until the same have been paid at the rate of six per cent (6 %) per annum. and the following voted against the same: WHEREUPON SAID RESOLUTION WAS DECLARED DULY PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 1ST DAY OF OCTOBER, 1962 BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY, STATE OF MINNESOTA.. BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Fridley, as follows: 1. That it is in the interest of the City to purchase the following items or materials for the City Administrative Department and the Municipal Liquor Stores: ONE "COMPACT" STATION WAGON ONE "COMPACT" SEDAN 2. A copy of the plans and specifications for the above described items and materials, together with a proposal for the method of purchase and the payment thereof have been presented to the Council by the City Manager and the same are hereby approved and adopted as the plans and specifica- tions, and the method of acquisition and payment to be re- quired by the City with respect to the acquisition of said items and materials. 9. Such assessment shall be payable in one or twenty installments payable on the first day of January in each year, beginning in the year 1963, and continuing until all of said installments shall have been paid, each install- ment to be collected with taxes collectible during said year ' by the County Auditor. 10. The City Clerk is hereby directed to make up and file in the office of the County Auditor of Anoka County a certi- fied statement of the amount of all such unpaid assessments and the amount which will be due thereon on the 1st day of January in each year.
