RESOLUTION NO. 168 -1962
A RESOLUTION CERTIFYING TAX LEVY REQUIREMENTS FOR 1963 TO
COUNTY OF ANOKA FOR COLLECTION
BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Fridley certify to the County
Auditor of the County of Anoka, State of Minnesota, t lie following
tax levy to be levied in 1963.
General Fund - $3659589.00
' Debt Service - 16,532.00
Contribution
to P.E.R.A. - 14,050.00
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the County Auditor be and is
hereby instructed to levy an amount eoual to the sum of 1.00 mills
for Firemen's relief.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the amount herein certified with
respect to the Public Employees Retirement Association is in the
amount required b7F law.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY THIS 8TH
DAY OF OCTOBER, 1962.

RESOLUTION RPLATING TO NCTICE TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FRIDLEY OF INTENT TO DESIGNATE CITY STREETS AS COUNTY ROADS.
WHEREAS, the Minnesota State Legislature in 1959 revised the
State Highway Code, Chanter 500, Article 4, Section 11, which re-
vision provided t;at a County Board, by resolution, could designate
a City street as a County road without a hearirn, and
WHEREAS, on July 11, 1960, the Anoka County Board by resolution,
designated as a County Road, Main Street in the City of Fridley from
43rd Avenue Northeast to 57th Avenue Northeast, and 57th Avenue North-
east from Main Street to T.H. #47 (T.H. #56) without any notice to the
Council of the City of Fridley.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of Fridley:
1. That the County Board of Anoka County is requested to consult
with the Council of the City of Fridley before making a decision
to designate as a County Road, any street within the limits of
the City of Fridley.
' 2. That the City Clerk be direct=d to forward two certified copies
of this resolution to the Anoka County Board.
