RES 1962-178RESOLUTION NO. 178 -11?62 RESOLUTION DESIGNATING POLLING PLACES AND ELECTION JUDGES NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, By the City Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, at a regular meeting thereof on October 15, 1962 SECTION 1. That on the 6th day of November, 1962, there shall be a City General Election for the purpose of voting on the following: ELECTION OF: MAYOR COUNCILMAN AT LARGE SECTION 2. That the County and State Election will also be held on the 6th day of November, 1962. SECTION 3. That the polling places for said election shall be as follows: Ward 1 Precinct 1 Wooderest School Ward 1 Precinct 2 Hayes School Ward 2 Fridley Jr. High School Ward 3 Fridley City Hall SECTION 4, That the polling places will be open from 7:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. SECTION 5. That the following people are hereby appointed to act as judges for said election except that the City Clerk is hereby authorized to appoint qualified substitutes in cases of conflict or interest as set forth in Chapter 4, Section 4.05 of the City Charter. Brunsell RESOLUTION NO. 179 -1962 A RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT ON SEWER AND WATER PROJECT NO. 59 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY, MINNESOTA, as follows: 1. The Council finds that the lowest responsible bidder for construc- tion of the improvement work designated as: SEWER AND WATER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #59 is Montgomery Construction Com.any, St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin, whose bid is in the arount of *17,965.40 with comnletion time in 45 calendar days. That said bid is hereby accepted, and the City Manager and Mayor in office on date of execution of the contract are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with said bidder for and in behalf of the City of Fridley.
