All of said land to be assessed proportionately according to the benefits received by such improvements. WHEREAS, the Resolution of the City Council adopted on the 15th day of October, 1962, ordered a h aring on said improvements and directed that bids be obtained to provide information at the hearing, and, INFEREAS, all the property owners whose property is liable to be assessed were given notice of the Council hearings by publication and by mail, and the hearing was held and the property owners heard thereon, at the hearing, as noted in said notice. NOW, TEEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of Fridley, Minnesota, as follows: 1. That the following improvements are hereby ordered, and all actions heretofore taken by the Council, the City Manauer, and the Engineer with respect thereto are hereby ratified and confirmed. (a) That the followina noted improvements proposed by Council res- olutions are hereby ordered to be effected and completed as soon as reasonably possible, to-wit: (1) All of the improvements as noted in Resolution No. 121 -1962, adopted September 4, 1.962, and Resolution No. 176 -1962, adopted October 15, 1962, and that the work involved in said improvements as listed above shall hereafter be designated as: STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. ST.1962 -4 The plans and specifications prepared by the City Engineer are hereby approved and shall be filed with the City Clerk. The work to be performed under STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. ST. 1962 -4 shall be performed under one contract. Sealed bids will be received, publicly opened and considered by the City Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, at the office of the City Puna er in said City on the 5th day of November, L62, at 12:00 Noon for the Furnishing of work and materials for Street Improvement Project St. 1062 -4. The project consists of the following principal items of work and approximate quantities: 33,450.00 So. Yds. Bituminous Surfacing 11,700 Lin. Ft. Bituminous Curbing 14,000 Sq. Yds. Soil Stabilized Base All in accordance with plans and specifications prepared by Calvin G. Plans and specifications may be examined at the Office of the City Manager, and conies may be obtained for the Contractor's indi- vidual use by apnlying to the City Engineer and depositing with the City Engineer c15.00 for each set. The deposit will be refunded to each bider submitting a bonafide bid upon return of the documents in good condition within ten (10) days from the bid opening date. Bids must be made on the basis of cash payment for work, and accompanied by a cash deposit, certified check (or a r sponsible bank in the State of Minnesota), or a bidder's bond and made payable with- out condition to the City of Fridley, "Cnnesota, in an amount of not less than 5% of the total amount of the bid. The City Council reserves the right to reject any and all. bids and to waive any informalities in any bids received without explanation. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days.
