A RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVaIENT AND FINAL PLANTS AND SPECIFICATIONS
STREETS 1962 -1 AND APPROVING PLANS AND PROVIDING FOR BIDS.
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 26 -1962 of the City Council adopted the
16th day of April, 1_962, set the date for ^earing on the proposed im-
provements, as specifically noted in the Notice of Hearing attached
hereto for reference as Exhibit "A ", and
WHEREAS, All of the property owners whose property is liable to
be assessed with the making of these improvements (as noted in said
notice) were given ten (10) days published notice of the Council hearing
' through two (2) weekly publications of the reouired notice, and the
hearing was held and the property owners heard thereon at the hearing
as noted in said notice.
TJOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, By the Council of theCity of
Fi,idley, Anoka County, Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the following improvements proposed by Council Resolution No.
26 -1962 are hereby ordered to be effected and completed as soon
as reasonably possible, to -wit:
a. All of the improvements as noted in the notice of hearing on
the same as are noted (in Exhibit "A") in said notice.
That the work above may be consolidated with other areas as one
improvement, to be performed under contract let by Anoka County,
in accordance with bids received.
2. The City Engineer and the County Engineer, are hereby designated
as the Engineers for the improvement and are authorized to pre-
pare final plans and specifications for such improvement. Further,
such plans as noted in the agreement incorporated in Resolution
No. 37 -1962, are approved.
' 3. The County is authorized to advertise for bids for the performance
of the work. Such bids shall be received on the date called,
tabulated, and a contract for the work let for the benefit of the
City; all pursuant to the cooperative agreement noted in Resolution
No. 37 -1962.

' A RESOLUTION ORDERING PRELIMINARY PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, AND ESTIMATES OF
THE COSTS THEREOF: (WATER, SANITARY SE4r'R AND STORM SEWER PROJECT NO. 58)
BE IT RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of Fridley as follows:
1. That it appears in the interest of the City and of the property
owners affected that there be constructed certain improvements,
to -wit:
a. Sanitary Sewer mains and laterals and service Connections
in all the lands and streets located as follows:
(1) Along Central Avenue from Gardena Avenue
to Mississippi Street N.E.
b. That petitions relative to said improvements have been
received and riled with the City as follows:
(1) Petition No. 44 -1961 relating to Item a (1)
above.
(2) Request of County of Anoka relating to Item a (1)
above.
2. That it appears in the interest of the City and of the property
owners affected that there be constructed certain improvements,
to -Wit:
a. Water Service Connections in all the lands and streets
located as follows:
(1) Along Central Avenue from Highway No. 65 to
Mississippi Street N.E.
b. That petitions relative to said improvements have
been received and filed with the City as follows:
(1) Request from the County of Anoka relating to
Item a (1) above.
?. That it appears in the interest of the City and of the property
owners affected that there be constructed certain improvements
to -wit:
a. Partial Storm Sewer System consisting of crossings
in the streets located as follows:
(1) Along Central Avenue From Highway No. 65 to Mississippi
Street N.E.
b. That petitions relative to said improvements have been
received and riled with the City as follows:
(1) Request from County of Anoka relating to Item a (1) above.
4. That Comstock and Davis, Incorporated, Consulting Engineers, are
hereby authorized and directed to draw preliminary plans and
specifications and to tabulate the results of their estimates
of the costs of said improvements, including every item of cost
from intention to completion and all fees and expenses incurred
(or to be incurred) in connection therewith, or the financing
thereof, and to make a nre]iminary report of their findings,
stating therein whether said improvements are feasible and whether
they can best be made as proposed, or in connection with some other
improvements,(and the estimated cost as recommended), including
also a description of the lands or area as may receive benefits
therefrom and as may be proposed to be assessed.
5. That the City Clerk shall act to ascertain the name and address
of the owner of each parcel of land directly affected or within
the area of lands as may be proposed to be assessed for said
improvements (and each of them); and, upon receipt from said
Engineer of the said preliminary report, calculate estimates
of the assessments as may be proposed relative thereto against
each of said lands.

6. That said preliminary report of the Engineer and estimates
of assessments of the Clerk, shall be furnished to the council,
and made available for inspection to the owner of any parcel
of land as may be affected thereby at any public hearing held
relative thereto, as well as at any prior time reasonable and
convenient.

BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley as
follows:
1. That it appears in the interest of the City and of the
property owners affected that there be constructed certain
improvements, to -wit:
a. Street improvements, including grading, stabilized
base, blacktop, curb and gutter, and incidental drainage
facilities, located as follows:
(1) Along 591, Way N.E. from Anna Avenue to East
River Road.
(2) Along Rivers Edge Way N.E. from East River Road
to along northerly east -west leg.
(3) Along Riverview Terrace from 62nd Way to the
north edge of Juli Ann Plat.
(4) Along Alden Way from 62nd.Way to the north edge
of Juli Ann Plat.
(5) Along Alden Way from 75th Avenue N.E. to the north
edge of Elwell's Addition.
(6) Along 75th Avenue N.E._from'Alden Way to East River
Road.
(7) Along Talmadge Way from Talmadge Way to 75th Avenue
N.E.
(8) Along Starlite Boulevard.from Sylvan Lane to
Mercury Drive.
(9) Along Jupiter Drive from Sylvan Lane to Mercury
Drive.
(10) Along Mercury Drive from Starlite Boulevard to
University Avenue Service Road.
