A RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVaIENT AND FINAL PLANTS AND SPECIFICATIONS
STREETS 1962 -1 AND APPROVING PLANS AND PROVIDING FOR BIDS.
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 26 -1962 of the City Council adopted the
16th day of April, 1_962, set the date for ^earing on the proposed im-
provements, as specifically noted in the Notice of Hearing attached
hereto for reference as Exhibit "A ", and
WHEREAS, All of the property owners whose property is liable to
be assessed with the making of these improvements (as noted in said
notice) were given ten (10) days published notice of the Council hearing
' through two (2) weekly publications of the reouired notice, and the
hearing was held and the property owners heard thereon at the hearing
as noted in said notice.
TJOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, By the Council of theCity of
Fi,idley, Anoka County, Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the following improvements proposed by Council Resolution No.
26 -1962 are hereby ordered to be effected and completed as soon
as reasonably possible, to -wit:
a. All of the improvements as noted in the notice of hearing on
the same as are noted (in Exhibit "A") in said notice.
That the work above may be consolidated with other areas as one
improvement, to be performed under contract let by Anoka County,
in accordance with bids received.
2. The City Engineer and the County Engineer, are hereby designated
as the Engineers for the improvement and are authorized to pre-
pare final plans and specifications for such improvement. Further,
such plans as noted in the agreement incorporated in Resolution
No. 37 -1962, are approved.
' 3. The County is authorized to advertise for bids for the performance
of the work. Such bids shall be received on the date called,
tabulated, and a contract for the work let for the benefit of the
City; all pursuant to the cooperative agreement noted in Resolution
No. 37 -1962.

THE COSTS THEREOF: (WATER, SANITARY SE4r'R AND STORM SEWER PROJECT NO. 58)
BE IT RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of Fridley as follows:
1. That it appears in the interest of the City and of the property
owners affected that there be constructed certain improvements,
to -wit:
a. Sanitary Sewer mains and laterals and service Connections
in all the lands and streets located as follows:

CITY OF FRIDLEY
NOTICE OF HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka
County, Minnesota, has deemed it necessary and expedient that the
improvements hereinafter described be made.
NOW, THEREFORE, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT on the 7th
day of May, 1962, at 8:00 o'clock P.M., the City Council will meet
at the City Hall in said City, and will at said time, and place,
hear all parties interested in said improvements in whole or in
part.
The general nature of the improvements is the construction
(in the lands and streets noted below) of the following improve-
ments, to -brit:
CONSTRUCTION ITFMS
A. Portland Cement Concrete Curb and Gutter located in all
of the following streets and serving all of the area des -
cribed as follows:
1. Central Avenue from State Trunk Highway #65 to
Mississippi St. N.E.
THAT THE TOTAL ESTIMATED COST OF SAID IMPROVEMENTS IS ...... $ 30,916.60
THAT THE AREA PROPOSED TO BE ASSESSED FOR SAID IMPROVEMENTS IS AS
FOLLOWS:
All of the lands abutting upon said streets named above,
and all lands adjacent and abutting thereto.
All of the said lands to be assessed proportionately '
according to the benefits received by such improvements, with
one -half the cost to be borne by the County of Anoka.
That the City Council pro_oses to proceed with said improve-
ments, under the following authority, to -wit: Minnesota Laws 1953,
Chapter 398 and laws amendatory thereof, and in conformity with
the City Charter.
