NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of
Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the following improvements proposed by Council
Resolution ;'42 -1962 are hereby ordered to be effected
and completed as soon as reasonably possible to -wit:
a. All of the improvements as noted in the notice of
hearing on the same as are noted (in Exhibit "A")
in said notice.
That the work above may be consolidated with other areas
as one improvement.
2. The work to be performed under this project may be performed
under one or more contracts as may be deemed advisable upon
receipt of bids.
3. Comstock and Davis, Inc., Consulting Engineers and the City
Engineer, are hereby designated as the 'Engineers for this
improvement. They shall prepare final plans and specifi-
cations for the making of such improvement.

A RESOLUTION ORDERING PRELIMINARY PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS AND
ESTIMATES OF COSTS THEREOF: (STREETS - PROJECT ST. 1962 -3)
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley as follows:
1. That it appears in the interest of the City and of the property
owners a`fected that there be constructed certain improvements,
to -wit:
a. Street improvements, including grading, stabilized base,
blacktop, curb and gutter and app.irtenant facilities ,
located as follows:
(1) 75th Avenue N.E. from University Avenue N.E. to
4th Street N.E.
(2) 4th Street N.E. from 75th Avenue N.E. to 76th Avenue N.E.
(3) 76th Avenue N.E. fro m 4th Street N.E. to 5th Street N.E.
(4) 75th Avenue N.E. from 4th Street N.E. to 5th Street N.E.
(5) 5th Street N.E. from 75th Avenue N.E. to Osborne Rd.
b. That petitions relative to said improvements have been rec-
eived and foled with the City as follows:
(1) Letter from Comstock and Davis Consulting Engineers
relating to S&SS #24 and S &W 48A Construction Projects.

2. That Comstock and Davis Consulting Engineers and /or the City
Engin ^er is hereby authorized and directed to draw preliminary
plans and specifications and to tabulate the results of his
estimates of costs of said improvements, including every item
of cost from inception to completion and all fees and expenses
incurred (or to be incurrec,) in connection therewith, or the
financing thereof, and to make a preliminary report of his
findings, stating therein whether said improvements are feasible
and whether they can best be made as proposed, or in connection
with some other improvements (and the estimated cost as recom-
mended), including also a description of the lands or area as
may receive benefits therefrom and as may be proposed to be
assessed.
3. That the City Clerk shall act to ascertain the name and address
of the owner of each parcel of land directl- affected or within
the area of lands as may be proposed to be assessed for said
improvements (and each of them); and, upon receipt from said Eng-
ineers or Engineer of the said preliminary report, calculate
estimates of assessments as may be proposed relative thereto
against each of said lands.
Q. That said preliminary report of the Engineer or Engineers and
estimates of assessments of the Clerk, shall be furnished to
the Council, and made available for inspection to the owner of
any parcel of land as may be affected thereby at any public
hearing held relative thereto, as well as at any prior time
reasonable and convenient.
