Res 2002-76 RESOLUTION NO. 76 -2002 RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE DESIGN FOR THE EXTENSION OF 62ND WAY WEST OF RIVERVIEW TERRACE WHEREAS, the proposed street width for the extension of 62nd Way is less than the City's established policy standard of 30 feet, and WHEREAS, the construction of a street to accepted standards would require the acquisition of a significant amount of right-of-way which would adversely affect the adjacent properties, and WHEREAS, the Engineering staff of the City recommends, nevertheless, the utilization of national and locally accepted standards, and WHEREAS, that, after careful review of the facts and circumstances herein, the City Council has determined that the best interest of the adjacent residents and the City is to construct the street extension to a substandard design width and not in accordance with the larger configuration of national and locally accepted standards. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the City Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, as follows: The Engineering staff and Department of Public Works be and is directed to design the proposed street extension of 62nd Way at an overall width of 13 feet face of curb to face of curb.
