Res 1999-15 RESOLUTION NO. 15 - 1999
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A CHANGE IN MILEAGE
REIMBURSEMENT RATES FOR THE 1999 CALENDAR YEAR
WHEREAS, there has been a decline in gas prices over the past years and the cost of cars
has remained stable; and
WHEREAS, the Internal Revenue Service has reduced the standard mileage rate to $.031
cents per mile for 1999; and
WHEREAS, an adjustment of the standard mileage rate for the City of Fridley is
warranted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Fridley that
the following change be authorized for employees of the City of Fridley, effective
January 1, 1999:
1. Standard Mileage Rate reduced to $0.31 per mile.
