Res 1999-22 RESOLUTION NO. 22 - 1999
A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 68-1998 TO AMEND THE
GEOGRAPHIC AREA FOR THE ALTERNATIVE URBAN AREAWIDE REVIEW FOR
THE MEDTRONIC INC. CAMPUS AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF I-694 AND
HIGHWAY 65
WHEREAS,the City Council on October 19, 1998, adopted Resolution No. 68-1998 regarding
initiation of the Alternative Urban Areawide Review for the Medtronic Inc. campus; and
WHEREAS,Resolution No. 68-1998 referred to a geographic area consisting of the 41 acre site
commonly referred to as the Fridley Executive Center site; and
WHEREAS,Medtronic Inc. has subsequently submitted a concept plan for a master plan of
development which includes additional property to the north of subject site; and
WHEREAS,the City of Fridley is conducting the Alternative Urban Areawide Review process
as provided for by the State of Minnesota, and
WHEREAS,the final Alternative Urban Areawide Review is now being prepared.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED,by the City Council of the City of Fridley,
Minnesota, hereby amends Resolution No. 68-1998 to include additional area to the north of the
site as shown on the attached Exhibit A.
