Res 1999-81 RESOLUTION NO. 81 - 1999
RESOLUTION DESIGNATING TIME AND NUMBER
OF COUNCIL MEETINGS FOR 2000
WHEREAS, Section 3.01 of the Charter of the City of Fridley requires that the City Council
meet at a fixed time not less than once each month; and
WHEREAS, Section 3.01 of the Charter of the City of Fridley requires that the Council shall
meet at such times as may be prescribed by resolution; and
WHEREAS, it is the intent of the Council to comply with the open meeting provisions contained
in Minnesota Statutes 471.705 as interpreted by the courts;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Fridley that:
1. The Council will hold regular meetings in the Council Chambers of the Fridley
Municipal Center, commencing at 7:30 p.m. on the following Mondays in 2000:
January 3, January 24, February 7, February 14, March 6, March 20, April
10, April 24, May 8,May 22, June 5, June 26, July 10, July 24, August 14,
August 28, September 11, September 25, October 9, October 23,
November 6,November 20,December 11 and December 18.
2. The Council will hold conference meetings at the Fridley Municipal Center, at which
time matters are discussed but no formal action is taken, commencing at 7:00 p.m. on the
following Mondays in 2000:
January 31, February 28, April 17, May 15, August 21, October 16, and
November 13.
3. On the dates of regular Council meetings, conference meetings will be held in the Fridley
Municipal Center at 7:00 p.m. and following adjournment of each regular meeting.
