RESOLUTION NO. 31 - 1998
RESOLUTION REQUESTING NO PARKING SIGNS ON EAST RIVER
ROAD SOUTH OF I-694
WHEREAS, East River Road (CASH No. 1) south of Interstate 694 is
primarily park and industrial areas, and
WHEREAS, vehicles speed along this section of the highway, and
WHEREAS, parking vehicles cause an obstruction to the normal flow of
traffic in this area, and
WHEREAS, there is sufficient parking for those land uses in this area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the City Council of the City of
Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, that the Anoka County Commissioners
authorize the placement of No Parking signs on both sides of East River
Road (CASH No. 1) south of Interstate 694 within the corporate limits of
Fridley.
