RESOLUTION NO. 41 - 1998
RESOLUTION APPROVING A SIGNAL AGREEMENT WITH THE
MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR
UPGRADES ON TRUNK HIGHWAY 65 AT 53RD AVENUE, I-694
AND C.S.A.H. 35
BE IF RESOLVED that the City of Fridley enter into an agreement with the
State of Minnesota Department of Transportation for the following
purposes, to wit:
To revise the existing traffic control signal with street lights,
emergency vehicle pre-emption, interconnect and signing on Trunk Highway
No. 65 (Central Avenue) at 53rd Avenue northeast; install new traffic
control signals with street lights, emergency vehicle pre-emption,
interconnect and signing on Trunk Highway No. 65 (Central Avenue) at
Trunk Highway No. 694 South Ramps and at Trunk Highway No. 694 North
Ramps; and remove the existing traffic control signal and install a new
traffic control signal with street lights, emergency vehicle pre-
emption, interconnect and signing on Trunk Highway No. 65 (Central
Avenue) - Trunk Highway No. 65 at County State Aid Highway No. 353
(Central Avenue) - Lake Pointe Drive in accordance with the terms and
conditions set forth and contained in Agreement No. 77548, a copy of
which was before the Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Mayor and the City Manager of
the City of Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, are authorized to execute
the Agreement.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY THIS 8TH
DAY OF JUNE, 1998.
