RESOLUTION NO. 63 -1997
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING
EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH J.R. 'S APPLIANCE
DISPOSAL, INC. FOR APPLIANCE RECYCLING SERVICES
AT THE FRIDLEY RECYCLING CENTER
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute 115A. 9561 requires that major appliances
are banned from normal refuse disposal and must be recycled or
reused; and
WHEREAS, the City of Fridley wishes to offer appliance recycling
services permanently at the Fridley Recycling Center at 350 715 t
Avenue NE in Fridley; and
WHEREAS, J.R. ' s Appliance Disposal, Inc. is a certified appliance
recycler, with an established method for processing and recycling
major appliances, and has submitted an offer to collect and recycle
appliances collected by the City at the Fridley Recycling Center.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council, that the City of
Fridley enter into the attached Appliance Recycling Agreement with
J.R. ' s Appliance Disposal, Inc. to conduct the following project:
Major Appliance Recycling.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council, that the City Manager be
authorized to execute the attached Appliance Recycling Agreement for
the above mentioned project on behalf of the City of Fridley.
