Res 1997-71 III RESOLUTION NO. 71 - 1997
A RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTICIPATION IN THE ANOKA
COUNTY AUTO THEFT TASK FORCE
WHEREAS, Anoka County is receiving a Minnesota Auto Theft Prevention
Program grant to be used for the Anoka County Auto Theft Task Force; and
WHEREAS, the Anoka County Joint Law Enforcement Council supports
implementation of the Anoka County Auto Theft Task Force; and
WHEREAS, the law enforcement agencies in the Cities of Anoka, Blaine,
Columbia Heights, Coon Rapids, Fridley, Lino Lake, Ramsey, Spring Lake
Park, St. Francis, Circle Pines and Lexington, and the County of Anoka
are interested in participating in the Anoka County Auto Theft Task
Force; and
WHEREAS, the Minnesota Auto Theft Prevention Program grant requires the
grant recipient to have all participating agencies sign a multi-agency
agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Fridley that the Mayor and the City Manager be authorized to sign the
attached Anoka County Auto Theft Task Force MULTI-AGENCY AGREEMENT.
