RESOLUTION NO. 18 - 1996
A RESOLUTION CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE
MODIFICATION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR
REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT NO. 1 AND THE TAX INCREMENT
FINANCING PLANS FOR TAX INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICTS
NOS. 1 - 3, 6, 7, 9 - 14
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council (the "Council") of the City of Fridley,
Minnesota (the "City") , as follows:
Section 1. Public Hearing.
1.01. This Council shall meet on Monday, April 22, 1996 commencing at 7:30
o'clock p.m. at City Hall, 6431 University Avenue N.E. , Fridley, Minnesota, to
hold a public hearing on the following matters:
(a) modification of the Redevelopment Plan for Redevelopment
Project No. 1 (the "Project Area") to reflect increased project
costs and increased bonded indebtedness within the Project Area,
pursuant to and in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Sections
469.001 to 469.047, inclusive, as amended and supplemented from
time to time;
(b) modification of the Tax Increment Financing Plans for Tax
Increment Financing Districts Nos. 1 - 3, 6, 7, 9 - 13, to reflect
increased project costs and increased bonded indebtedness within
the Project Area, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 469.174
through 469.179, inclusive, as amended and supplemented from time
to time; and
(c) modification of the Tax Increment Financing Plan for Tax
Increment Financing District No. 14 (the "TIF District") to
reflect increased geographic area within the TIF District and
increased project costs and bonded indebtedness within the TIF
District and the Project Area, pursuant to and in accordance with
Minnesota Statutes, Section 469.174 to 469.179, inclusive, as
amended and supplemented from time to time.
Section 2. Notice of Hearing: Filing of Plans.
2.01. The City Clerk is authorized and directed to cause notice of the public
hearing to be published as required by law, to place a copy of the
Redevelopment Plan and the Tax Increment Financing Plans (collectively the
"Plans") on file in the City Clerk's office and to make such Plans available
for inspection by the public.
