RESOLUTION NO. 19 - 1996
RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING "NO PARKING" ON CENTRAL AVENUE
ALONG THE MEDTRONICS PROPERTY
WHEREAS, a number of employees, vendors and contractors have been parking on
Central Avenue in front of the Medtronics properties, and
WHEREAS, Medtronics has adequate off-street parking available for its employees
and customers, and
WHEREAS, Medtronics believes that the parking of vehicles on Central Avenue in
front of their property is a deterrent to their business and public safety, and
WHEREAS, it would be appropriate to post "no parking" on either side of Central
Avenue from 69th Avenue north on the Medtronics property, and
WHEREAS, the Anoka County Highway Department would place no parking signs if
supported by the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the City Council of the City of Fridley,
Anoka County, Minnesota, that the Anoka County Highway Department is requested
to post no parking on either side of Central Avenue from 69th north on the
Medtronics property.
