RESOLUTION NO. 46 - 1996
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AGREEMENTS BETWEEN THE CITY OF
FRIDLEY AND RECIPIENTS OF 1996-97 FEDERAL COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS
WHEREAS, 1996-97 Federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) monies have
been made available to the City of Fridley; and
WHEREAS, Anoka County Officials administering CDBG funds require that the City
enter into contracts with each service provider; and
WHEREAS, at its meetings of May 16, 1996 and June 6, 1996, the Fridley Human
Resources Commission reviewed and recommended 1996-97 CDBG funding to human
service organizations as listed below.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Fridley
authorizes the Mayor and the City Manager to execute agreements between the
City and the following organizations for the provision of services in
accordance with Federal CDBG regulations:

Alexandra House $3,000 Women's Shelter
ACCAP Senior Outreach $6,000 Senior Outreach
Central Center for Family $2,500 Peer Resources Support

Community Emergency $2,500 Food/Special Needs Asst.
Assistance Program
Fridley Senior Program $2,500 Senior Companion Program
Nucleus Clinic $2,000 Family Planning
Southern Anoka Community $2,500 Food/Clothing
Assistance
St. Philips Lutheran Church $2,500 Youth Program
