RESOLUTION NO. 56 - 1996
RESOLUTION TO APPOINT AN EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT DIRECTOR
FOR THE CITY OF FRIDLEY
WHEREAS, City Ordinance 106 provides for the establishment of a local
Emergency Management Organization; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of the Emergency Management Organization is to carry out
emergency preparedness functions during emergencies and disasters; and
WHEREAS, Section 106.03 directs that the Emergency Management Organization
shall be under the supervision of the Emergency Management Director who shall
be appointed by the Mayor;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that David H. Sallman be appointed Director of
Emergency Management for the City of Fridley.

AUGUST, 1996.
