RESOLUTION NO. 121 - 1979
RESOLUTION CALLING FOR PUBLIC HEARING PURSUANT TO MINNESOTA
STATUTES, SECTION 474.01 , SUBDIVISION 7b REGARDING PROPOSED
PROJECT FOR ISSUANCE OF $700,000 INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT
REVENUE BOND TO SIMER PUMP COMPANY
WHEREAS, a proposal has been made to this Council by Simer Pump Company, a
Minnesota corporation (the "Company") , to undertake a project (the "Project")
pursuant to the Minnesota Municipal Industrial Development Act, Minnesota
Statutes, Chapter 474 (the "Act"); and
WHEREAS, the Project consist of the renovation and expansion of an existing
manufacturing facility and the equipping thereof in the City of Fridley,
Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, Section 474.01 , Subdivision 7b, of the Act requires this Council to
conduct a public hearing on said proposal and to publish notice of said
public hearing not less than 15 days nor more than 30 days prior to the date
fixed for the hearing; and
WHEREAS, the Company has delivered to this Council a draft copy of a proposed
application to the Minnesota Commissioner of Securities, together with all
attachments and exhibits thereto, and said application, attachments and
exhibits are now of file with the City Clerk;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that:
1 . A public hearing shall be conducted by the Council on the proposal to
undertake and finance the Project on December 3, 1979, at the City Hall , at
which hearing all parties who appear shall be given an opportunity to express
their views with respect to said proposal ; and
2. Notice of the time and place of hearing, and stating the general nature
of the Project and an estimate of the principal amount of bonds or other
obligations to be issued to finance the Project shall be published at least
once not less than 15 days nor more than 30 days prior to the date fixed for
the hearing, in the official newspaper and a newspaper of general circulation
of the City. The notice shall state that a draft copy of the proposed
application to the Minnesota Commissioner of Securities, together with all
attachments and exhibits thereto, shall be available for public inspection
following the publication of such notice and shall specify the place and
times where and when it will be so available.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT PROJECT
ON BEHALF OF SIMER PUMP COMPANY
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing shall be conducted by the City
Council of the City of Fridley, Minnesota on an industrial development
project proposed to be undertaken by the City and Simer Pump Company, A
Minnesota Corporation (the "Company") , at the City Hall in said City on
Monday, the 3rd day of December, 1979 at 7:30 o'clock P.M. The project is
proposed to consist generally of the renovation and expansion of an existing
manufacturing facility in the City of Fridley, Minnesota and the acquisition
and installation of equipment therefor, together with any required site
improvements. Under the proposal , up to approximately $700,000 in principal
amount of Industrial Development Revenue Bond of the City of Fridley will be
issued to finance the project. A draft copy of the proposed Application to
the Minnesota Commissioner of Securities for the project, together with all
attachments and exhibits thereto, shall be available for public inspection
following this publication of notice in the office of the City Clerk, Monday
through Friday, except legal holidays, from 8 o'clock A.M. to 5 o'clock P.M.
to and including the date of hearing.
