HRA RESOLUTION NO. 14 - 1995
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A SERVICE CONTRACT WITH ANOKA
COUNTY COMMUNITY ACTION PROGRAM, INC. (ACCAP) FOR
ADMINISTRATION OF THE HOME IMPROVEMENT GRANT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority in and for the City of Fridley,
Minnesota (the "Authority") has received federal HOME Investment Partnership
Program funds (the "HOME Funds") through the Anoka County Consortium; and
WHEREAS, the Authority will use the HOME Funds for a HOME Improvement Grant
Program to provide grants to low-income residents for fixing up their homes; and
WHEREAS, the Authority has determined that it can administer this program more
effectively in cooperation with the Anoka County Community Action Program, Inc.
(the "Agency") ; and
WHEREAS, the Authority finds it necessary to enter into a service contract (the
"Contract") with the Agency in order to outline the responsibilities of each
party.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT, by the Authority as follows:
._ 1. The Chair and Executive Director are authorized to sign the Contract.
2. As compensation, the Authority agrees to pay the Agency $10,313 for
administrative services as outlined in the Contract.
3. The Agency may only proceed with administration of the program after
receiving written notice from the Authority.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY IN AND FOR THE
CITY OF FRIDLEY THIS 17TH DAY OF JULY, 1995.
