AN ORDINANCE UNDER SECTION 12.07 OF THE CITY CHARTER TO
VACATE STREETS AND ALLEYS AND TO AMEND APPENDIX C OF THE
CITY CODE
The City Council of the City of Fridley does hereby ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. To vacate all of the alley and street easement described as follows:
A. The East 8 feet of the 16 foot alley in Block 2, Spring
Valley Addition lying between the westerly extension of
the north and south lines of Lot 13, Block 2, Spring
Valley Addition.
B. The West 8 feet of the 16 foot alley in Block 2, Spring
Valley Addition lying between the easterly extension of
the south line of Lot 16 and the easterly extension of
the north line of Lot 15, Block 2, Spring Valley
Addition.
C. The East 5 feet of Lots 15 and 16, Block 2, Spring
Valley Addition.
All lying in the South Half of Section 13, T-30, R-24, City
of Fridley, County of Anoka, Minnesota.
Be and is hereby vacated, except that the City of Fridley
reserves an easement for drainage and utility purposes over
the alley herein described and vacated.
SECTION 2. The said vacation has been made in conformance with Minnesota
Statutes and pursuant to Section 12.07 of the City Charter and
Appendix C of the City Code shall be so amended.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY THIS 21ST DAY OF
JUNE, 1993.
