Ordinance No. 1020 10-04-1993 ORDINANCE NO. 1020 AN ORDINANCE UNDER SECTION 12.06 OF THE CITY CHARTER DECLARING CERTAIN REAL ESTATE TO BE SURPLUS AND AUTHORIZING THE SALE THEREOF SECTION 1 The City of Fridley is the fee owner of the tract of land within the City of Fridley, Anoka County, State of Minnesota, described as follows: Lot 26, Block C, Riverview Heights, Anoka County, Minnesota, and that part of all of the vacated Broad Avenue N.E. , lying southerly of the westerly extension of the northerly line and northerly of the westerly extension of the southerly line of Lot 26. A w Reserving and subject to easements for bikeway and walkway purposes in favor of the City of Fridley, over the westerly 15 feet and the northerly 10 feet thereof, and northwesterly of a line drawn from points distant 12.0 feet southerly and northeasterly of the intersection point of the interior easement lines. Also reserving and subject to an easement for public roadway purposes in favor of the property adjacent westerly, lying southerly of a line drawn from the most southerly corner of Lot 26, Block C, to a point distant 10.00 feet northerly of the intersection of the westerly extension of the southerly line of said Lot 26 with the westerly line of vacated Broad Avenue. Generally located north of Lafayette Street and south of Mississippi Boulevard. All lying in the North Half of Section 3, Township 30, Range 24, City of Fridley, County of Anoka, State of Minnesota. SECTION 2 It is hereby determined by the City Council that the City no longer has any reason to continue to own said property, and the City Council is hereby authorized to sell or enter into a contract to sell said property.
