Ordinance No. 1060 12-11-1995 ORDINANCE NO. 1060 AN ORDINANCE RECODIFYING THE FRIDLEY CITY CODE, CHAPTER 31, ENTITLED "PAWN SHOPS," BY AMENDING SECTIONS 31.06, AND AMENDING CHAPTER 11, "GENERAL PROVISIONS AND FEES" The City Council of the City of Fridley does hereby ordain as follows: 31.06. GRANTING LICENSES 1. At the time of making an initial or renewal application, the applicant shall, in writing, authorize the Police Department to investigate all facts set out in the application and do a personal background and criminal record check on the applicant. The applicant shall further authorize the Police Department to release information received from such investigation to the City Council. 2. Each license shall be issued to the applicant only and shall not be transferable. 3. Each license shall be issued only for the premises described in the application and shall not be transferable to a different location. 4. No change in ownership, control or location of a license shall be permitted except by amendment to the license which amendment must be approved by the City Council. 5. No more than three (3) licenses shall be issued by the City at any time and priority shall be given to qualified applicants for renewal of existing license. 11.10. FEES Section 11.10, "Fees" is amended to include the following Pawn Shop fees: CODE SUBJECT FEE 31 Pawn Shops $15,000 PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY THIS 11TH DAY OF DECEMBER, 1995. °-i WILLI .
