RESOLUTION NO. 2013 - 50
RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENT TO THE JOINT & COOPERATIVE
AGREEMENT FOR THE FORMATION AND ADMINISTRATION OF THE ANOKA-
HENNEPIN NARCOTICS AND VIOLENT CRIMES TASK FORCE
WHEREAS,
on February 22, 2010, the Fridley City Council last approved an updated Joint &
Cooperative Agreement for the Formation and Administration of the Anoka-Hennepin Narcotics
and Violent Crimes Task Force; and
WHEREAS,
the following municipalities participate in the Agreement: Anoka, Blaine,
Champlin, Columbia Heights, Coon Rapids, Fridley, Maple Grove and the County of Anoka, to
cooperatively enforce drug laws, investigate crimes of violence, and gang activity; and
WHEREAS
, the 2010 agreement has been revised in response to comments and directives from
the State of Minnesota Department of Public Safety.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED
, that the Fridley City Council does hereby approve
the revised Joint & Cooperative Agreement for the Formation and Administration of the Anoka-
Hennepin Narcotics and Violent Crimes Task Force, and authorize the execution of the
agreement on the City’s behalf by such signatures as are indicated on the agreement.
