The proposed assessment roils are on file for public inspection at the
Finance Office.Notices are being mailed to all property owners.
Written o�oral objections will be considered at the meeting,No appeal '
may be taken as to the amount of an assessment unless a signed,written
obje:.lion is filed wi:h tFe clerk pnor to the hearng or is presented to ihe
presiding officer at the hearing.The councii may,upon such notice,con-
sider any objection to the amount of a proposed individual assessment at
an adjournerl meeting, upon such further�otice to the affected Qroperty
owners,as it deems advisable.
An owner may appea4 an assessment to disirict court pursuant to Min-
nesota Statutes Section 429.081 by serving notice of the appeal upon the
Mayor or Cierk of the City within 30 days after the adoption of the assess-
ment and filing such notice with the District Court within ten days after
service upon the Mayor or Clerk,
The City of Fridley has adopted Resolution No.14-1995 deferring spe-
cial assessment payments for senior citizens.The City Counci)may defer
the payment of special assessments for any homestead property owned by
a person 65 years of age or older,or for persons retired due to permanent
and total disability for which it would be a hardship to make the payments
