Sealed bids will be received and publicly opened by the City of Fridley,
Anoka County, Minnesota,at the office of the Director of Public Works,
6431 University Avenue N.E.,Fridley,Minnesota 55432(fel.763-571 3450)
on Friday,the 22nd day of May, 2015 at 10:00 a.m., for the furnishing
of work and materials for 2015 STREET REHABILITATION PROJECT NO.
ST2015-01.

56,500 SY Aggregate Base,Ciass 7 Full Depth Recycled
56,500 SY Grade and Dispose Excess Reclaim Material
10,200 TN Bituminous AsphaR Paving
4,000 LF Repiace Co�crete Curb and Gutter
1,300 LF Replace 12"Water Main and Vaives
2,100 LF Replace 6"Water Main and Valves
21 EA Replace Hydrant and 6"Gate Valve
330 LF Replace 8"Sanitary Sewer Main
28 EA Repiace Sewer/Catch Basin Castings
32 LF Repiace Storm Sewer Main

2,500 LF Abando�d Naturai Gas Main Removal and Disposal
Along with additional anciilary work items, including Concrete Valley
Gutter, Utility Service Connections, Pavement Markings,Tra�c Control,
Erosion Control,Turf Restoration,and Driveway Restoration.
A non mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m.on Thurs-
day,May 14th,2015 at the Fridiey Municipal Center.
All in accordance with plans and specifications prepared by James P.
Kosluchar,P.E., Director of Public Works, Fridley Municipal Center,6431
UniversityAve.NE,Fridley,MN 55432,dated Aprii 30th,2015.
Contract documents may be examined at the offce of the Director of
Public Works.Contract documents may be obtained by check,cash,or I
credit card.Please call 763-572-3552 or email Jeannie.Benson�fridleymn.
gov to view or purchase contract documents. Contract documents are
available for purchase via the following options:
1. Paper copy including electronic format(CD}for a fee of$75.00.
2. Or electric format(e-mail or CD)for a fee of$25.00.
Bids shalf be on the forms provided and must be made on the basis
of cash payment for work,and accompanied by a cash deposit,certified
check(on a responsible bank in the State of Minnesota)or a bidder's bond
made payable without condition to the City of Fridiey, Minnesota, in an
amount of not less than five(59�0)percent of the total amount of the bid.
The City Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to
waive any informality in any bids received without explanation.
No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty(60)days.
