SITE DESCRIPTION AND HISTORY — The subject property is located on the southeast corner of University Avenue and 69th Avenue. It is bordered by Rice Creek on the south and City park land on the north. To the east of the property are single family homes.The church was originally constructed in 1965. A two-story addition used for administration and classroom use was constructed to the church in 1974 and in 1985 a gymnasium was added to the south side of the church building.
