RESOLUTION REQUESTING NO PARKING DESIGNATION
ON 69TH AVENUE FROM CENTRAL AVENUE
TO STINSON BOULEVARD
WHEREAS, the City of Fridley is currently preparing construction plans for the 2018 Street
Rehabilitation Project No. ST2018-01, including reducing the roadway width, constructing a
bituminous trail and storm water drainage swale on the south side of the proposed curb line; and
WHEREAS, these changes will require elimination of parking on 69th Avenue; and
WHEREAS, ample off-street parking is available adjacent to these segments of 69th Avenue;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FRIDLEY, MINNESOTA:
1. The City Council designates 69th Avenue as "No Parking" between Central Avenue
to Stinson Boulevard; and
2. The Public Works Department install signage in accordance with the parking prohibitions
listed above in conjunction with Project No. ST2018-01.
