June was full of events with 49er Days , the Mini Paint A-Thon, Safety Camp, the Concessions at the Ball Park and Bob's Produce. Thanks to all the wonderful volunteers that continue to make all of these things go so smoothly! The pace appears to be slowing down for July and August. The Heatwave could have influenced this. However, there will still be things happening at the Center like movies, cards, the new Bridges Golf League, the Minnetonka Boat Cruise and City Mystery Tour. . .What? Did I say the Pam was slowing down... I just got back from a wonderful weekend in St Cloud with fellow scrapbook enthusiasts. (For those of you who don't know, scrapbooking and photographs are a passion of mine.) One of the keynote speakers at the conference talked about the importance of finding your passion and living it. Too many of us hung through life thinking we're living with zest when in fact all we are doing is rushing. We need to relish sweet moments in time. Take moments to appreciate those things around us that truely make our heart sing. This isn't always easy. As Peter McGugan says, we have to schedule time for ourselves. I want to encourage each of you to capture some sweet memories over the next few months to wane your heart this winter. . .I know I will! The next newsletter will be out in mid-late August. Until them, have a happy and safe 4th of July. •'I i I I;:!:i'I!i1iI1II:.,.LI.lI,Ii•.:.i.1Ir:II.:II.L!i:!.;,..i..»»:1»:..r.!4...i:.+..h:•.•.a,:+,..,.!:..;:+»..+:.ri.+.,:!.:.a,i:,:x 4.i..o.i,lIil1.:.::11I!l@.»»'.n+x..:»...».;.».L».:..1:»1.>»u..:r!.:.:1.:a!,..»,.:I».n::»i:.:..,Irn:».Ii:..Ii,..iiI.I:sS.;:I..i:..::.3a,:::1.:::».:.Y+..3..;.::!:.::.:n+.::.::.::.; +....Lk+.:.»x!.x1!.».Lw.l.+..Nt.:l:::.'iai»rerx..ax.i.i t....`.>l.d.:.I:..+€..k.».,.+>.....>k<..I 11I 111 jI11.i.1.`':..:I.t,l>':i,i,llipl..:.:: I!., 1.tEA»» rI ' I : l.:.,»,:,LLn;i»Ihl !,I'I!li,,:l:,: I:I'I »!I: :+ VIMMIM; :Ii A FIR EII m H Thanks to Esther Campbell for watering the Center plants.
