O O i Volunteers Needed We have been hearing comments about how nice it is to talk to a live voice when you call the Se- nior Center or to be able to visit with someone when stopping by the Center. We agree personal contact is our goal but we need volunteers to help us. The job is simple. Hostess volunteers help to greet people, register participants in programs, answer the phone and make coffee. Occasion- ally, volunteers are asked to complete tasks such as stuffing envelopes and filing. When things are quiet, it is a perfect opportunity to catch up on reading, writing letters, or needlework. Ideally we would like a volunteer to commit to one afternoon or morning a week but even once or twice a month would be a big help. A Thousand Thanks goes out to all our active volunteers. We could not accomplish near what we do without the help of our Activity Coordinators, Committee members, Concession workers, Wreath Sale volunteers, mailing volunteers, Special Event volunteers and the list goes on. . . Welcome Back, George! Just thought we should let all the Woodcarvers know that George is back to Woodcarving on Mondays and Fridays. Come welcome him back soon.
