RESOLUTION DESIGNATING TIME AND NUMBER
OF COUNCIL MEETINGS FOR 2019
WHEREAS, Section 3.01 of the Charter of the City of Fridley requires that the City Council
meet at a fixed time not less than once each month; and
WHEREAS, Section 3.01 of the Charter of the City of Fridley requires that the City Council
shall meet at such times as may be prescribed by resolution; and
WHEREAS, it is the intent of the City Council to comply with the open meeting provisions
contained in Minnesota Statutes 13D as interpreted by the courts;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Fridley that:
1. The City Council will hold regular meetings in the Council Chambers of the Fridley
Municipal Center, commencing at 7:00 p.m. on the following dates in 2019:
January 7, January 28, February 11, February 25, March 11, March
25, April 8, April 22, May 13, May 28, June 10, June 24, July 8, July
22, August 12, August 26, September 9, September 23, October 14,
October 28, November 12, November 25, December 9, and
December 23.
2. The City Council will hold conference meetings at the Fridley Municipal Center, at
which time matters are discussed but no formal action taken, commencing at 5:30 p.m. on
the following Mondays in 2019:
January 14, February 4, May 20, June 17, September 16, and
October 21.
3. The City Council may hold conference meetings prior to regularly -scheduled City
Council meetings.
