A RESOLUTION APPROVING ALTERATIONS IN THE BUDGET FOR
THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 2019
WHEREAS, the City conducts Cured—in—Place Pipe lining to extend the useful life of the
Sanitary Sewer System; and
WHEREAS, on November 27, 2017, the City Council (Council) received bids and awarded a
contract for lining to Lametti and Sons, Inc. (Lametti) in an amount not to exceed $956.682,
(Project); and
WHEREAS, on June 24, 2019, the Council assigned the contact from Lametti to Granite Inliner,
LLC (Granite), which did not impact the cost or term of the Project; and
WHEREAS, Granite then completed the Project and submitted their final payment requests in
the amount of approximately $935,000, including $123,100 in change orders; and
WHEREAS, 2019-2023 Capital Investment Program authorized insufficient budget authority
for the Project; and
WHEREAS, City Charter § 7.07 authorizes the Council to reallocate unexpended budget
authority and/or increase expenditures upon receipt of additional revenue.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Fridley hereby
approves and authorizes the following reallocation:
