RESOLUTION DESIGNATING TIME AND NUMBER
OF COUNCIL MEETINGS FOR 2020
WHEREAS, Section 3.01 of the Charter of the City of Fridley requires that the City Council
meet at a fixed time not less than once each month; and
WHEREAS, Section 3.01 of the Charter of the City of Fridley requires that the City Council
shall meet at such times as may be prescribed by resolution; and
WHEREAS, it is the intent of the City Council to comply with the open meeting provisions
contained in Minnesota Statutes 131);
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Fridley that:
1. The City Council will hold regular meetings in the Council Chambers of the Fridley
Civic Campus, 7071 University Avenue N.E., commencing at 7:00 p.m. on the following
dates in 2020:
January 6, January 27, February 10, February 24, March 9, March
23, April 13, April 27, May 11, May 26, June 8, June 22, July 13,
July 27, August 10, August 24, September 14, September 28,
October 12, October 26, November 9, November 23, December 14,
and December 21.
2. The City Council will hold conference meetings at the Fridley Civic Campus, at which
time matters are discussed but no formal action taken, commencing at 5:30 p.m. on the
following Mondays in 2020:
June 15, September 21, and October 19.
3. The City Council may hold conference meetings prior to regularly -scheduled City
Council meetings.
