RESOLUTION NO. 2019 - 80
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A BUDGET FOR THE FISAL YEAR 2020, A REVISED
BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2019 AND THE 2020–2024 CAPITAL INVESTMENT
PROGRAM
WHEREAS, The City Manager presented a Proposed 2020 Budget, Proposed 2020–2024 Capital
Investment Program and a Revised 2019 Budget as stipulated by the City Charter § 7.04 to the City
Council for their review and consideration; and
WHEREAS, the Proposed 2020 Budget and its associated volumes and appendices provides for an
effective and orderly allocation of financial resources; and
WHEREAS, Consistent with City Charter § 7.05, the City Council has held a public meeting on
December 9, 2019; and
WHEREAS, the City Council concluded that the 2020 Budget, as proposed, meets the needs of the
City and the requirements of the City Charter.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Fridley hereby
approves and adopts the Revised 2019 Budget, the 2020 Budget, and 2020–2024 Capital Investment
Program as presented.
